Listen Up! 2018 Cast and Crew

Mary Cowan (Stage Manager)
I am in grade 12 at St. John Catholic High School in Perth. I became interested in this program after working with the Classic Theatre Festival last summer and hearing more about the program. I really enjoyed working on this play!

Ruby Davidson (Natalie)
I am currently in grade 11 at PDCI and I love participating in the Listen Up! projects every year. It is a group that I feel comfortable and happy to be a part of. Since joining two years ago I have met people I otherwise never would have met. It is my goal for our shows to help in the community and spread awareness for the important issues that are not talked about enough in Lanark County

Felix Evangelho (Skyler, Elizabeth, Mommy)
I’m a student at PDCI.  I’ve been working with Burning Passion’s Theatre for 4 years. I enjoy being able to spread awareness and talk about current issues, and seeing the impact we have on the community when we do these plays. The cast and everyone who works on this production are all very positive and welcoming, I always enjoy working with them!

Ryan Kreissler (Liam, Sophie, Sam)
I’ve been acting for Burning Passions Theatre for 4 years, and all have been amazing experiences. In my spare time, I enjoy singing, listening to music, drawing, and chatting with friends. I play trumpet in my school band, and I enjoy spending time with my cats.

Winston Mavraganis (John, Foreman, Father, Daddy)
I go to PDCI and I’m in grade 12. While I’ve only seen Listen Up! plays at my school in the past, I’m excited for this opportunity to now perform in one. This play explores scenarios and perspectives not enough people think about, exploring the very real stigmas present today in our society concerning sexual assault. It’s an important topic, and I’m happy to have the chance to reach audiences with these stories. Plus the food is great!

Lu Williams (Jackie, Mary)
I have been in several school productions and few out of school over the last seven years, including A Glitch in a Biosphere, Aladdin and Jungle Book. I think that this theater group is amazing, the group has a strong connection with each other. I have learned a lot in the few weeks I have been a part of it.

Every Friday features (L to R, back row) Ryan Kreissler, Winston Mavraganis, and Ruby Davidson; (L to R, front row) Felix Evangelho, Lu Williams and Mary Cowan.
